FAQs

Questions we asked ourselves, before anyone else asked us

We spent months researching before our own treatment, so we know the questions that actually matter. Here are the honest answers.

Why did you choose this particular clinic?

Andy and Jon each spent months independently researching clinics in Turkey — looking at surgical credentials, accreditations, patient outcomes, and honest reviews from people who'd been through major treatment. Without comparing notes along the way, both landed on the same clinic. That independent decision, after much research, is exactly why we now recommend them exclusively.

How extensive was your own treatment?

Both founders needed their smiles rebuilt from the ground up. Jon's case included ten extractions, ten implants, two sinus lifts and a bone graft, all completed in a single afternoon. Andy required 30 zirconium crowns. We've been through complex, major treatment ourselves, which is exactly why we understand the type of support people require when undergoing dental surgery in an unfamiliar location.

What does "accompanied" actually mean?

It means Andy or Jon are physically with you — not just a contact number. We're on hand before your treatment to help settle any nerves, and during your recovery at the hotel to check in, help with whatever you need, and take you to restaurants suited to eating comfortably after surgery. It's the support we wished we'd had.

Do I need to travel to Turkey before deciding anything?

No. We arrange your first consultation right here in the UK, with the clinic's own team travelling over to meet you. You can ask every question and see your treatment plan before you commit to booking any travel. If you choose just to send a panoramic X-ray which can be arranged privately (cost between £75-150) then you will get feedback via Whatsapp and can ask questions during the feedback.

What's included in the treatment plan?

After your UK consultation, we help you arrange a clear, itemised plan covering exactly what treatment you need, the number of visits required, expected timelines, and costs — so there are no surprises once you're there.

What happens if something feels wrong during recovery?

Because we travel with you and stay close during your recovery, you're not relying on a distant call centre. We're on hand at your hotel and can assist you with liaising directly with the clinic if anything needs attention.

What can I actually eat after treatment like this?

This is a bigger deal than most people expect. After extractions, implants, or grafts, you need soft, nutritious food that doesn't put pressure on healing sites. We take you to nearby restaurants that specialise in exactly this kind of dining, so recovery doesn't mean living on soup from a hotel room.

Should I take out dental insurance?

Although neither Andy nor Jon took out insurance, because they had done their research thoroughly and decided on balance that they didn't need it, we'd always recommend it to people who are deeply nervous, for additional peace of mind. Standard travel insurance often doesn't cover complications from planned dental treatment abroad, so it's worth looking at specialist dental travel insurance or an aftercare guarantee alongside your regular travel cover. The clinic will give you full details of their own guarantee at your UK consultation, so you know exactly what's covered and what isn't before you travel.
